Job summary

Orizon GmbH seeks a Buyer (m/f/d) for Upgrade Services in the Cabin Procurement team at Hamburg / Finkenwerder to support Airbus Operations.

You will drive RFQ processes, translate customer needs into supplier terms, and lead commercial negotiations to keep Airbus competitive, collaborating with cross-functional groups including Engineering and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or International Management or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in Procurement, Customer Service and Supplier Management.
• Strong knowledge in Project and Process Management.
• Proficient in SAP and Google Workspace.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• French or German language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the dynamic customer offer preparation phase and RFQ processes.
• Understand customer needs for Cabin Upgrade Service Projects and search for supplier terms.
• Launch RFQs to suppliers and chase offers within Airbus timelines.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure Airbus competitiveness.
• Oversee RFQ offer approvals.
• Assist process improvements with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Help update supply contracts to improve cabin upgrades competitiveness.
• Collaborate in a multi-functional network across S Programme, offer management, Engineering and Supply-Chain.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting as buyer (m/f/d) for Upgrade Services in the cabin procurement team at the location Hamburg / Finkenwerder.

Your Responsibilities:

• Participate to the dynamic customer offer preparation phase,
• Understanding the customer needs for Cabin Upgrade Service Projects and search for suitbale supplier contractual terms
• Launch Request for Quotations (RFQ) towards suppliers, chase offers in line with the timeline committed by Airbus
• Be the first line of commercial negotiation, securing the Airbus competitivess
• Be accountable for the RFQ offer approval process
• Support the process improvement together with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support the update of the supply contracts improving Airbus competitiveness in the Cabin Upgrades business
• Collaborate in a multi-functional network, composed of the "S" Programme (Customer Support), customer offer management, Engineering and Supply-Chain, interfacing with multiple suppliers in Europe and worldwide

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Business Administration, International Management, a technical field or comparable
• Professional experience in Procurement, Customer Service and Supplier Management
• Good knowledge in Project and Process Management
• Advanced user skills in SAP and Google Workspace
• Fluent English skills spoken and written
• French or German skills are advantageous
