Your Mission

As Business Product Manager at hallo theo, you turn our platform into a strong, scalable business. You sit at the intersection of Product, Operations, Finance and Sales and take end-to-end ownership for the commercial performance of key products and services - from pricing and packaging to go-to-market and lifecycle optimisation. By deeply understanding our customers, our unit economics and the realities of property management in Germany, you design commercially sound product strategies, translate them into clear roadmaps, and work with our product & engineering teams to ship solutions that move revenue, margin and customer value.

Your Responsibilities
  • Own the commercial strategy for selected products, services and customer segments - defining business goals, tracking performance and driving initiatives to improve revenue, margin, retention and NPS.
  • Design and iterate pricing, packaging and monetisation models (e.g. tariffs, add-on services, partner offerings) based on customer insight, market benchmarks and unit economics.
  • Translate commercial opportunities into product initiatives by shaping problem statements, requirements and success metrics together with Product, Engineering, Operations and Data.
  • Run experiments and data-driven optimisation across the full funnel (acquisition, activation, expansion, retention) using A/B tests, cohorts and profitability analyses to inform investment decisions.
  • Act as the go-to commercial partner for stakeholders (e.g. leadership, Sales, Operations, Finance), providing clear business cases, forecasts and post-mortems to align priorities and trade-offs.
Preferred Background
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management or commercial / business roles (e.g. Growth PM, Commercial Product Manager, Monetization Manager, Business Owner) in tech, SaaS, fintech, proptech or similar.
  • Proven track record of owning business outcomes (revenue, margin, ARPU, churn, conversion) - not just shipping features.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills: you're comfortable with unit economics, contribution margin, cohort analysis and building simple models in Excel/Sheets or BI tools.
  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams with Engineering, Design, Ops and Data, ideally in a fast-growing startup/scale-up environment.
  • Language: fluent German (C1+) and strong business English - able to discuss both customer issues and financial topics with stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
  • Background in real estate, property management, financial services or other regulated, operations-heavy businesses.
  • Experience designing or optimising pricing & packaging for subscription or service businesses.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks and product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, dbt/SQL).
  • Prior work in a B2B/B2B2C context with multiple stakeholders (owners, tenants, partners).
  • Experience in an organisation with AI- or automation-driven products.
