Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Operations Systems Specialist to own end-to-end data flows across enterprise platforms. You will design, implement, and govern complex workflows for billing, pricing, tax, and reconciliation, acting as the SME for the operational system ecosystem.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into technical specs, auditing configurations, leading cross-functional design discussions, and driving process improvements with product and engineering teams.

Qualifikationen

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience with system implementations or financial systems initiatives.
• Proven ability to analyze complex system architectures and data flows.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a comprehensive, end-to-end understanding of transaction and data flows across enterprise platforms.
• Analyze, design, implement, and govern system-based workflows and process solutions supporting billing, pricing administration, tax administration, merchant configuration, customer entitlements, settlement processing, and financial reconciliation.
• Develop, implement, and monitor robust data controls to maximize configuration accuracy across integrated platforms.
• Identify system gaps and logic discrepancies before they cause customer or financial defects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the end-to-end operational system ecosystem.
• Translate operational and contractual requirements into technical specifications.
• Represent Operations in cross-functional solution design discussions.
• Investigate non-standard, high-pressure operational errors involving multiple systems and data sources.
• Lead root cause analysis and coordinate cross-functional corrective action plans.
• Audit system configurations for alignment with contractual obligations, pricing structures, and regulatory tax requirements.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to prioritize system enhancements and automated reconciliation tools.
• Establish and track KPIs for system enhancements, process automation, and risk mitigation.
• Lead change management initiatives supporting adoption of new system processes and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field
• 5 to 8 years of related work experience leading system implementations, technical business analysis, or financial systems initiatives within a corporate environment
• Ability to deeply analyze complex system architectures, transactional data flows, and integrations
• Proven track record of handling \"non-standard\" or high-pressure situations, navigating ambiguous data environments, and performing multi-system root cause analysis
• Capability to operate with minimal supervision (\"management by exception\")
• Direct experience supporting enterprise billing systems, complex pricing administration, tax compliance platforms, or financial reconciliation architectures
• Extensive experience collaborating across matrixed corporate structures involving Product, Engineering, Corporate Finance, Risk and Operations
• Comfort leveraging analytical and diagnostic tools to synthesize multi-source data for pattern recognition
• Agentic Intelligence experience -- Preferred
