• Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams during high-value implementations and expansion opportunities.
• Guide integration, configuration, and system design.
• Assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions involving ERP, HRIS, and API integrations.
• Support technical workstreams with onboarding specialists and implementation leads.
• Problem-solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations.
• Participate in technical discovery and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture, including API usage.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across HRIS and Accounting integration partners.
• Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide complex configuration decisions without writing code directly.
• Contribute to internal documentation and tooling for integration use cases.
• Channel customer pain points and feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
• 2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer‑facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows
• Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture
• Ability to explain technical concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
• Exceptional organization and problem‑solving skills
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments
