Business Development Manager Energy Storage Systems (m/f/d)

stratandnet GmbH is a strategic partner in the recruitment and placement of specialists and managers in the fields of engineering, IT and sales. We support various partners from the automotive and railway industry in recruiting personnel. For one of our clients from Sulzbach we are currently looking for a permanent employee for the following position:

General conditions
  • Company: Energy storage (Battery)
  • Employees: approx. 36.000
  • Location Sulzbach
  • Scope: 40 hours per week
Tasks:
Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities in the residential battery, Small & I & Solar system sector
  • Analyze costumer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to shape go-to-market strategies
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets
Sales & Business Growth
  • Identify, develop and manage partnerships with distributors, installers for generating sales revenue
  • Present solutions to potential customers especially for B2B customer (Energy Provider, Inverter Company and so on)
  • Build and nurture relationships with utility companies, energy service providers, and big installers
  • Work closely with engineering and product development teams to provide customers feedback and ensure product offerings align with market needs
Qualification:
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in renewable energy sector
  • University degree in economics or engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Proven record of delivering sales revenue according to a pre-defined sales target
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
  • Deep knowledge of Li-Ion batteries, inverters, PV systems and deep technical background
  • Professional, highly motivated individual with a strong results-oriented work ethic
  • Comfortable working beyond normal office hours as required to meet customers expectations; an ability to travel extensively throughout across EU countries
  • English is mandatory and other European Language would be a plus
