Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant (m/w/d) – Frankfurt – Family Office

Hauser Recruiting is proud to be partnering with a prestigious family office based in Frankfurt's Bankenviertel. They are a highly successful German company that has evolved from a regional SME into a global enterprise.

If you are a Bookkeeper (Buchhalter:in) or Finance Assistant working for a financial services, professional services or business consultancy with an international background and wish to join a fast‑paced, experienced and collaborative team supporting the international partners, this could be the perfect role for you! Being an international team, fluency in German advanced / business level English is vital.

The position carries significant accountability as the sole finance point of contact in Frankfurt, supporting the firm’s financial processes and liaising with external advisors, as well as handling all financial admin for the Family’s real estate.

The Main Duties
  • Manage complex accounts payable and oversee invoicing for Frankfurt office payment runs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for finance queries across the firm.
  • Monthly reporting.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and accountants, preparing and submitting invoices and reports.
  • Administer corporate credit cards: ordering, monthly reconciliations, reviewing limits, and addressing overspend or inappropriate charges.
  • Conduct travel expense reviews and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Produce Excel‑based reports comparing costs against budgets; provide analysis and insights to management.
  • Support with financial analysis and advice.
  • Build strong working relationships with external advisors and international counterparts.
  • Handle all financial administration for the Family’s real estate.
Key Skills & Attributes Required
  • Previously worked as a Bookkeeper/Buchhalter:in, Finance Assistant or similar role, ideally completed relevant Ausbildung.
  • Candidates must be fluent in German and have advanced English.
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical mindset – able to interpret numbers and derive meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of handling sensitive conversations with professionalism.
  • Deadline‑driven, reliable, and able to explain financial matters clearly to non‑finance colleagues.
