Overview
Public sector organisation is looking for a Bid Writer who will be responsible for supporting bid teams in the preparation of convincing offer / tender documents.
Experience Required
- Ideally, a background in journalism;
- Ability to produce high-quality texts even under high time pressure;
- ability to quickly grasp complex information and implement it creatively;
- Structured, process-oriented and organized work with the highest level of detail;
- Experience in template creation and document editing (desirable but not mandatory);
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and, ideally, also of relevant tools such as Adobe;
- Strong communication skills, including relationship building and stakeholder management;
- Confident, persuasive and clear expression;
- Very good written and spoken German language skills (at least C2) are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent creation of storyboards and support of subject matter experts in their implementation and ensuring compliance throughout the entire development of the offer;
- Collaborate with technical and commercial colleagues to gather information and "translate" technical / financial solutions;
- Producing high-quality responses that are well-formulated, concise, and correct, as well as collaborating with the graphic design team to develop visually appealing documents;
- Integration of winning strategies, unique selling propositions, case studies and "hot-button" content into bidding documents with the aim of achieving the maximum score according to the evaluation criteria of the clients;
- Conducting research to supplement offer documents, including preparing data for governance meetings;
- Support of bid managers and other members of the bid teams in ad-hoc tasks.
