Join TÜV SÜD as an Automotive Safety Engineer and play a pivotal role in advancing the safety of highly automated and autonomous vehicle technologies. In this position, you will collaborate with leading OEMs, technology innovators, and regulatory authorities to ensure the safe development, validation, and deployment of next‑generation mobility solutions. Your expertise will directly contribute to shaping global safety standards and practices for intelligent transportation systems.
Conduct technical reviews, safety audits, and conformity assessments of ADAS and autonomous systems in accordance with standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and UL 4600.
Partner with industry leaders to advise on safety cases, management plans, and engineering workflows that meet global safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including engineers, project managers, and global partners—to address complex safety challenges in autonomous vehicle development.
Stay ahead of evolving standards, regulations, and industry trends, helping shape TÜV SÜD’s methodologies and services for emerging AI‑driven automotive systems.
Support business development activities, including technical sales, client engagements, and strategic growth initiatives in the AV safety domain.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related degree (automotive specialization preferred).
3–5 years of experience in functional safety (ISO 26262 or equivalent), particularly in ADAS or autonomous systems.
Familiarity with advanced technologies in automotive systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%).
