Overview

My client is a global Cost and Project Management Consultancy within the construction industry.

As part of their ongoing growth in the German Project & Cost Management team, they are seeking a forward-thinking Office Lead in Dusseldorf with expertise in the Construction and Real Estate sectors.

You will play a key role in expanding their German portfolio, with a particular focus on the refurbishment and repositioning of existing projects and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Project Management services through pre- and post-contract processes
  • Support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
  • Carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
  • Work with senior members of staff to gather market testing data of key elements for the developments
  • Provide assistance on general project management tasks such as meeting minutes, dashboard reporting, risk management, etc.
  • Prepare and assist with the preparation and issuing of tender documents, evaluations, contract documentation and reports
  • Prepare and assist with the production of cost reports and cost forecasting
  • Advise and liaise with internal project and cost control team
Key Attributes
  • Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • Working towards Chartered status
  • Ideally a minimum of 6+ years’ experience of working in the Construction industry
  • A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
  • Likeable and warm personality which will fit in and become an integral part of the team
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
  • Hospitality or real estate background
