Job summary

PointSharp AB in Karlsruhe, Germany, invites qualified applicants for an Accountant role to own a broad German accounting scope within an international finance team. You will contribute to transforming processes and supporting the Business Central implementation, reporting to the Head of Accounting in Sweden.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB).
• Several years of accounting experience in a medium-sized or international company.
• Completed degree or vocational training in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Good Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Business Central is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Structured, independent, and hands-on way of working.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-border teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes and, when needed, support accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure high-quality financial records.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Act as the main contact for external tax advisors regarding tax reconciliations and annual reporting.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors.
• Drive and support continuous improvements of financial processes and controls.
• Play a key role in our finance transformation journey by supporting the final stages of our Business Central implementation and helping ensure a successful transition to our new finance platform planned on January 1, 2027.
