Zusammenfassung

ConSol Partners is looking for an experienced Accountant based in Düsseldorf, Germany. The role involves supporting the preparation of financial statements, managing journal entries, and performing balance sheet reconciliations. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a large international organisation, along with SAP experience and strong Excel skills. Fluency in German and English is required. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to finance digitisation and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements in line with group requirements and deadlines
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements, including notes and management reports
• Post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and reporting
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations using financial systems and group reporting tools
• Support regular and ad-hoc reporting for management
• Assist with cash flow forecasting
• Act as a key contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments
• Support audit processes (tax and statutory audits)
• Contribute to finance digitisation and automation initiatives

Experience

• Completed commercial training, ideally with additional qualification as a certified accountant (IHK)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting
• Experience within a large, international organisation is advantageous
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SAP CIM is a plus
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on, flexible approach
