Job summary

Pointsharp AB in Germany invites an Accountant for our German entity to own a broad accounting scope and contribute to developing the finance function. You will join an international Finance Team and report to the Head of Accounting in Sweden.

This role offers significant growth as the company and finance organization evolve, including involvement in our Business Central implementation and finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB).
• Several years of accounting experience, preferably in a medium-sized or international company.
• Completed degree or vocational training in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Good Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Business Central is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Structured, independent, and hands-on working style.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-border teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes and, when needed, support accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure high-quality financial records.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Act as the main contact for external tax advisors regarding tax reconciliations and annual reporting.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors.
• Drive and support continuous improvements of financial processes and controls.
• Play a key role in our finance transformation journey by supporting the final stages of our Business Central implementation and helping ensure a successful transition to our new finance platform planned on January 1, 2027.
