Lean Solutions Group in Medellín seeks a Transportation Dispatcher to coordinate and monitor freight movements, ensuring on-time delivery and real-time shipment visibility.

You will collaborate with drivers, carriers, and customers, handle documentation, and use Track & Trace and PCS TMS to keep data accurate and shipments progressing smoothly.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Dispatch, Freight Brokerage, or related field.
• Knowledge of transportation operations, shipment tracking, and carrier coordination.
• Experience with Track & Trace and transportation documentation.
• Ability to work with multiple systems and software platforms simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating through phone, email, chat, and other communication platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Experience with a TMS is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor shipments in progress and obtain real-time location updates via Track & Trace.
• Confirm driver availability and on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Communicate shipment status, questions, and updates with customers.
• Price and quote ad hoc shipments as needed.
• Source and secure carrier capacity for ad hoc shipments.
• Send, collect, and verify transportation documents (BOLs, PODs, etc.).
• Maintain accurate shipment data and perform data entry in PCS TMS and Excel.
• Follow up on delays, missing information, or changes affecting shipments.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Manage multiple shipments and priorities while maintaining accuracy and service quality.

The Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supporting active transportation operations, ensuring shipments are tracked accurately and delivered according to schedule. The role works closely with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to maintain shipment visibility, resolve operational issues, and ensure timely and efficient freight movements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipments in progress and obtain real-time location updates through Track & Trace.
• Confirm driver availability and ensure on-time arrival for pickups and deliveries.

• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, questions, and operational updates.
• Price and quote ad hoc shipments as needed.
