Wesco is a leading global distributor of electrical products, solutions and services. The Manager - Category Management will shape category strategy and oversee supplier growth plans, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to drive customer-centric programs.

You will lead product assortment optimization, manage key supplier relationships, and own profitability and growth across assigned lines within the Utilities market.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or a related field.
• 5 years in sales, marketing or product management.
• 2 years people management or product category management experience.
• Experience in electrical distribution market is required.
• Proven ability to influence cross functional teams.
• Analytical and detail oriented.
• Strong business and financial acumen; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Responsabilidades

• Category strategy: design programs to position brands and grow penetration in Utilities.
• Manufacturer management: pricing, rebates, marketing funds, and terms.
• Business development: align sales and manufacturers on growth priorities.
• Profitability and growth: own brand profitability and growth strategy.
• Commercial intelligence: keep price lists, forecasts, and BI tools up to date.
• Inventory: define and monitor inventory for launches and growth.
• Field technical support: provide technical assistance and site visits for validation.
• Supplier development: onboard new manufacturers under favorable terms for Wesco.
