AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own production reliability on a high-scale live hiring events platform serving enterprise clients. You will diagnose issues across distributed backend systems built on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while collaborating with Client Support and GTM teams to meet SLAs.

You should have strong React frontend experience, the ability to own multiple projects, and provide technical leadership as the team grows, with remote/flexible options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong backend development with Python and Django.
• Strong frontend experience with React.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and own multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues for live hiring events and platform functionality.
• Diagnose problems across distributed systems and integrations.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and resolve tickets.
• Ensure timely issue resolution per SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts and performance degradation.
• Maintain and update event logic as platform dependencies evolve.
• Contribute to architecture improvements, reliability, and scalability.
• Own code merges, deployments, and production changes with minimal supervision.
• Support and onboard additional engineers as the team grows.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
