Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Manizales, Colombia to own production reliability for a high-scale live events platform. You will diagnose issues across Java/Spring Boot and React stacks while collaborating with Client Support and GTM teams.

Strong ownership and rapid execution are essential. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, deep backend skills (Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django) and frontend React, with CI/CD and production troubleshooting expertise.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend: Java + Spring Boot (primary).
• Backend: Python + Django (secondary).
• Frontend: React.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and own multiple projects.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues in live environments.
• Knowledge of Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena is a plus.
• Strong debugging and data-analysis skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to live hiring events.
• Diagnose problems across distributed backend systems and event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage tickets efficiently.
• Ensure timely issue resolution in accordance with SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts or performance degradations.
• Maintain and update event logic as platform integrations evolve.
• Contribute to architecture improvements and system scalability.
• Own code merges, deployments, and production changes with minimal supervision.
• Support and onboard additional engineers as the team grows.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across projects.
