Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own and enhance a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare setting.

You will manage production environments, ingestion pipelines, and data models across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers, while upholding data quality and security standards. You will collaborate with Cloud/DevOps, Analytics, Security, and business stakeholders, mentoring engineers and driving incidents to resolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake and dbt experience for transformation, testing, and deployment.
• Hands-on AWS data services experience, especially S3.
• Experience orchestrating workloads with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality.
• Experience with observability, logging, alerting, and incident-management for production data platforms.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; ability to work with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage window and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Operate and improve Snowflake production and non-production environments, including performance tuning and cost management.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and audit readiness.
• Manage ingestion pipelines across Fivetran, HVR, and custom pipelines, including schema changes and backfills.
• Design, build, and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW, CURATED, CONSUMPTION layers with CI/CD.
• Support AWS S3 data-lake operations and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps on Argo Workflows and Kubernetes-hosted data workloads.
• Define data quality and observability standards with lineage, tests, and runbooks.
• Expand monitoring and lineage using SYNQ, dbt, Snowflake audit, and Splunk.
• Lead major data incidents and perform root-cause analysis for preventive improvements.
• Support Tableau Cloud data operations where needed.
• Identify standardization and automation opportunities across the platform.
• Follow incident, request, access, change, and release processes with iRhythm workflows.
• Create runbooks, procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials; mentor engineers and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
