AgileEngine, a data-driven software leader, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare setting. You will drive ingestion, modeling, testing, and CI/CD across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers, while ensuring data quality and security.

You will mentor mid-level engineers, coordinate with Cloud/DevOps, Analytics, and Security, and participate in on-call rotations. Excellent English communication is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong Snowflake expertise including design and production troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL and dbt for transformation, testing, lineage, and deployment.
• Experience with Fivetran or HVR and custom ingestion pipelines.
• Hands-on AWS data services, especially S3 and event/file ingestion.
• Experience with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and tooling.
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality.
• Experience with observability, logging, alerting, and incident management.
• Ability to lead incidents, perform root-cause analysis, implement preventive actions.
• Strong English communication; able to work with client stakeholders.
• Full availability to work 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior ownership for the Data Platform across LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and improve Snowflake production and non-production environments.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and audit-ready controls.
• Manage data ingestion via Fivetran/HVR and custom pipelines.
• Build and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW/ CURATED/ CONSUMPTION layers.
• Support S3 data-lake operations and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps on Argo Workflows and Kubernetes workloads.
• Enhance data quality and observability, including lineage and tests.
• Lead major incidents, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Support Tableau Cloud operations when needed.
• Document procedures, runbooks, and architecture context; mentor others.
