AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain pipelines and data models for a centralized HR data warehouse. You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, Airflow, and AI-ready tooling in a cloud environment to serve BI tools and AI agents.

You will design semantic layers, implement MCP connections, and enable natural-language querying over certified HR data, while ensuring high uptime and secure data handling.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Proficiency with Snowflake data modeling, datamarts, and data warehouse design.
• DBT for data transformations and orchestration.
• Python with OO programming and data scripting.
• Airflow for pipeline orchestration and scheduling.
• REST API integration and data ingestion.
• Google BigQuery querying and optimization.
• Strong SQL with highly optimized queries.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python within a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure and tooling for ETL from diverse sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS technologies (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Identify and implement internal process improvements, develop tests in the Data Quality Framework, and monitor pipelines to maintain uptime and quality.
• Design semantic views and ontology layers atop dbt models to make HR data consumable by BI tools and AI agents/LLMs.
• Develop and deploy AI agents (Snowflake Cortex Analyst/ Cortex Search) for HR COE use cases enabling natural-language querying over HRDM data.
• Configure and maintain MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling for secure exposure of HR data to interfaces.
