AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain pipelines and data models behind a centralized HR data warehouse. You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow to design semantic layers for BI tools and AI agents.

Experience with Snowflake Cortex or MCP-based tooling is a strong plus. Develop secure data pipelines, optimize ETL/ELT processes, and implement data quality tests while ensuring high uptime.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and modeling.
• Proficient in DBT data transformations.
• Proficient in Python for data scripting and OO programming.
• Experience with Airflow for orchestration.
• Strong REST API integration and data ingestion skills.
• Hands-on with Google BigQuery querying and optimization.
• Secure handling of large-scale and sensitive data.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python in a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure and tooling for ETL/ELT across sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Identify and implement internal process improvements and develop tests within the Data Quality Framework.
• Maintain data models and semantic views on top of dbt models for BI and AI consumption.
• Develop and deploy AI agents (Snowflake Cortex) for HR use cases enabling NLP querying over data.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling for secure data exposure.
