AgileEngine, LLC. in Colombia is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines behind a centralized HR data warehouse. You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow to design semantic layers consumable by BI tools and AI agents.

Responsibilities include developing secure ETL pipelines, implementing data quality and uptime targets, creating semantic views, and enabling agentic querying via Snowflake Cortex and MCP connections with internal AI tooling.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling, datamarts, and data warehouse design.
• Proficiency in DBT for data transformations and Python scripting.
• Strong SQL skills and optimized query development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python in a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure and tooling for ETL from diverse sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS technologies (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Monitor pipelines for 99.5% uptime and implement data quality tests.
• Create semantic views and ontology layers on dbt models to feed BI tools and AI agents.
• Deploy AI agents (Snowflake Cortex Analyst/Search) for HR COE use cases enabling natural-language querying.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling to expose data to conversational interfaces.
