AgileEngine in Bogota, DC, is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain a centralized HR data warehouse using Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow. You will design semantic layers and enable AI agents and NL querying over HR data.

You will implement robust pipelines, data models, and MCP connections while ensuring security and high uptime. This role offers growth, diverse projects, and flexible work options.

Formación

• 4+ years of data engineering experience with data warehouses.
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, datamarts and warehouses.
• DBT for data transformations and Python scripting.
• Airflow for orchestrating pipelines.
• REST API integration and secure data ingestion.
• Google BigQuery querying and optimization.
• Strong SQL with optimized queries.
• Real-time data processing from APIs or sheets.
• Excellent documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure data pipelines with DBT, PySpark and Python.
• Build ETL infrastructure using Python, DBT, Terraform and AWS (Glue/EMR/S3).
• Monitor pipelines to reach 99.5% uptime and improve data models.
• Create semantic views and ontology layers over dbt models for BI and AI.
• Deploy AI agents for HR data via Snowflake Cortex for NL querying.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling.
