AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines and data models behind a centralized data warehouse. You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, Airflow, and aim to enable AI agents to query HR data securely.

Responsibilities include designing semantic layers, building frameworks for data extraction and loading, and ensuring high uptime across ETL processes. Remote-friendly hybrid work with global client projects.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling, datamarts, and data warehouse design.
• Proficiency in DBT for data transformations.
• Proficiency in Python (OO programming and data scripting).
• Experience with Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• REST API integration and data ingestion experience.
• Strong SQL and performance tuning capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python applications in a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure and tooling for ETL/ELT of data from diverse sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS technologies (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Identify internal process improvements; develop tests within the Data Quality Framework; monitor pipelines to 99.5% uptime; create and maintain data models for partner teams.
• Design and build semantic views and ontology layers on top of dbt models to make HR data consumable by BI tools and AI agents/LLMs.
• Develop and deploy AI agents for HR use cases enabling natural-language querying over certified HRDM data.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling to securely expose HR data to conversational interfaces.
