AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines and semantic models in Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow. You will design semantic layers for BI tools and AI agents, enabling trusted data access across enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes secure handling of large-scale data, real-time processing, and experience with Snowflake Cortex or MCP-based tooling for agentic querying. It offers flextime and global project exposure.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Snowflake data modeling, datamarts, and warehouse design.
• DBT for data transformations.
• Python programming including OOP and data scripting.
• Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• REST API integration and data ingestion.
• Google BigQuery querying and optimization.
• Strong SQL including optimized queries.
• Secure handling of large-scale and sensitive data.
• Real-time data processing from APIs or sheets.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python in a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure and tooling for ETL of data from diverse sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Identify and implement internal process improvements, develop tests, monitor pipelines to 99.5% uptime, and maintain data models used by partner teams.
• Design and build semantic views and ontology layers over dbt models for BI tools and AI agents.
• Develop and deploy AI agents (e.g., Snowflake Cortex) for HR use cases enabling natural-language querying over certified data.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling to securely expose HR data to interfaces.
