Job summary

Kavren Technologies is seeking a senior HR operations professional to own HR processes across its portfolio. This is a full-time exclusive independent contractor role with 100% remote work and reporting to the founder.

You will manage employee records, country-by-country compliance, onboarding/offboarding, policies, and ongoing performance programs, with weekly updates on headcount and risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR operations or HR generalist roles, incl. at least 2 years running HR function
• Experience organizing employee files for remote teams in multiple countries
• Knowledge of U.S. hiring documentation (W-2, 1099, W-9, W-8BEN, I-9) and Latin America contractor agreements
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365, comfortable using AI tools to work faster
• Native Spanish and advanced English, written and spoken
• Full availability during U.S. Eastern business hours, responsive on Teams and WhatsApp

Responsibilities

• Own HR operations across portfolio: employee records, documentation/compliance by country, onboarding and offboarding
• Maintain access for new hires and offboard when leaving
• Write and update policies and the employee handbook
• Run performance reviews and cultivate a culture of ownership
• Provide weekly HR report to founder with headcount, open items, compliance gaps and risks
• Manage documentation in Microsoft 365 and related systems
