Job summary

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service to callers, customers, agents, and partners, handling inbound calls and emails, verifying coverage, and creating claims in the system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of related claims or customer service experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
• Writes clearly and informatively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Obtain critical claims information and set up a claim in the claims system (PTS).
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails.
• Submit claim and inspection requests to adjusters and vendors.
• Investigate prior claims and related information for adjusters.
• Investigate weather and storm information using the internet.
• Maintain diary entries and document activities in the claim file.
• Support mail distribution, filing, and scanning.
