Job summary

Cobalto Talent is hiring a bilingual payroll and HR assistant to support hourly workforces for U.S. clients. This remote role requires strong English and Spanish skills and precise handling of timekeeping, deductions and benefits data.

You will process payroll, assist HR administration tasks, and support onboarding, timesheets, I-9/W-4 compliance, and confidential records, with a focus on accuracy and discretion across borders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payroll, HR administration or both for hourly workers.
• Advanced English (B2+) and fluent Spanish.
• Precision with hours, rates and deductions; double-check before submission.
• Confidentiality with employee data.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Payroll: collect and review timesheets; enter payroll; process hires, rate changes, deductions and terminations; answer questions in Spanish or English.
• HR administration: onboarding packets; track I-9 and W-4; maintain employee files and PTO balances; translate notices and coordinate benefits enrollment.
