Job summary

Cobalto Talent seeks a precise Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day US-based finances remotely from LATAM. You will leverage cloud accounting software and AI tools to automate data capture, coding, and reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.

You will handle A/P, A/R, GL maintenance, and vendor communications, while assisting CPAs at tax time. Fluency in English and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in bookkeeper/transactional accounting for US-based companies.
• Proficient with QBO or Xero; QBO certification is a plus.
• Experience with AI-driven OCR and automated A/P/A/R workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
• Fluent English communication with vendors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle A/P and A/R using AI-powered OCR to capture invoices.
• Run daily/monthly reconciliations of banks, cards, and gateways with automation.
• Maintain general ledger focusing on exception handling rather than manual entry.
• Use automated follow-up systems and AI drafting tools for collections and vendor comms.
• Process expense reports and manage vendor records using integrated tools.
• Prepare basic monthly statements and assist CPAs during tax season.
