Job summary

Nassau Cable, a longstanding supplier of industrial and commercial wire and cable, seeks a proactive quotes specialist to support the Sales Lead. You will prepare accurate quotes, analyze costs, negotiate terms, and keep robust records to move opportunities toward closure.

The role offers commission from month 1, performance bonuses, and a hybrid work pattern with two office days weekly. English fluency and independent work ethic are essential assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in quoting, purchasing, procurement, sales support, or supply chain.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; knowledge of pricing and cost analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency.
• Persistent and thick-skinned: comfortable chasing vendors and clients repeatedly.
• Able to work independently, reporting to a single manager.

Responsibilities

• Review inquiries and determine the right products and pricing.
• Prepare and submit accurate quotes on time, adjusting as needed.
• Run cost analysis and negotiate pricing, lead times, and special requests.
• Keep clear records of quotations and activity.
• Send RFQs and follow up on prices and lead times.
• Build strong vendor relationships and coordinate with sales and shipping.
