DINX Solutions Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator Intern to learn intermodal container dispatch from the ground up. You will support daily fleet operations across the greater Atlanta area, collaborating with drivers, rail ramps, freight brokers, and customers.

This internship is designed for recent graduates aiming to build a career in logistics. We train you on our systems and processes, with strong performers able to transition into a full Logistics Coordinator role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Interest in trucking and freight.
• Organized, detail-focused, and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Quick learner with problem-solving ability.
• Comfort with computers; experience with TMS or ELD is a plus.
• Available during US Eastern business hours.

Responsibilities

• Help plan and dispatch daily container loads to company drivers and owner-operators.
• Track driver hours of service, turn times, and route progress in ELD and dispatch software.
• Learn how street turns, chassis allocation, and equipment returns help avoid per diem and demurrage fees.
• Send status updates, ETAs, and delay alerts to brokers, ocean carriers, and customers.
• Schedule appointments at warehouses, distribution centers, and rail terminals.
• Track container availability, last free days, and gate cut-offs at Atlanta rail ramps.
• Keep equipment and container records accurate, and check load documents such as EIRs, PODs, and BOLs.

You'll support daily fleet operations across the greater Atlanta area, working with drivers, rail ramps, steamship lines, freight brokers, and customers. This role suits a recent graduate who is sharp, organized, and wants to build a career in logistics. We'll train you on our systems and processes, and strong performers can grow into a full Logistics Coordinator role.

What you’ll learn and do

• Help plan and dispatch daily container loads to company drivers and owner-operators.
• Track driver hours of service, turn times, and route progress in ELD and dispatch software.
• Learn how street turns, chassis allocation, and equipment returns help avoid per diem and demurrage fees.

What we’re looking for

• A bachelor’s degree, recent or completed soon, in logistics, supply chain, international business, business administration, or a related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English, comfortable working with US drivers and clients every day.
• A basic understanding of logistics and business concepts, and real interest in trucking and freight.
• Someone process-oriented, organized, and detail-focused, who stays calm and professional under pressure.
• A quick learner with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with computers and new software. Experience with a TMS or ELD platform is a plus but not required.
• Availability during US Eastern business hours.
