Salvatech is seeking a CSR Transport Dispatcher to bridge U.S. customers and the operations team for port drayage.

You will manage container orders from intake to billing, track status, schedule port and delivery events, and ensure correct charges and POD documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment, with strong English communication and basic Excel skills.

Position Overview

• Location: Colombia — 100% remote
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Contract: Long-term Colombian employment contract (indefinite term), with a 2-month probationary period
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM Pacific Time (Some Saturdays may be required)
• Holidays: U.S. holidays off; Colombian holidays may be working days
• Language: Advanced English (B2+) or above
• Industry: Trucking and port drayage logistics

Role Summary

As a CSR Transport Dispatcher, you will serve as a key point of contact between U.S. customers and the operations team of a trucking company specializing in port drayage.

You will manage container orders from intake to billing, tracking container status, coordinating port and delivery appointments, keeping customers informed, and ensuring each order is properly closed with the correct charges and documentation.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and independent, with strong communication skills in English and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced logistics environment without close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders.
• Enter orders into the internal system and monitor container status.
• Provide customers with daily container updates by email or spreadsheet, including in-transit, on-hold, and available statuses.
• Schedule port appointments once containers become available and coordinate delivery appointments.
• Coordinate with the equipment team on live unloads to ensure empty equipment is returned promptly.
• Notify customers of completed deliveries, whether live unloads or drop-offs, and send the Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Finalize orders by compiling all applicable charges and updating the system for billing.
• Notify the billing team by email when an order is closed, including all charges and required documentation, such as interchange receipts.
• Support other operational tasks as assigned by the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation or logistics, with a basic understanding of port operations.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+), both written and spoken, for daily customer communication and updates.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Basic Excel skills and familiarity with online portals and internal systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple container orders simultaneously.
• Full availability for the required schedule, including occasional Saturdays.

Nice to Have

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Experience with track and trace, port appointments, and Proofs of Delivery (PODs) in port drayage.
• Previous customer service or dispatch experience with a U.S.-based trucking company.
• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS).
