Job summary

Hitachi Energy Colombia S.A.S. is seeking an IT/OT Specialist to provide onsite support for factory and site-owned assets, handling end-user IT tasks, and first-response cybersecurity activities.

The role requires strong English skills and a 100% on-site work arrangement in Dosquebradas, Risaralda, Colombia. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field, has 4+ years in IT support, and can coordinate with cybersecurity teams to contain and remediate incidents while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT Support, including end-user support, infrastructure, and operational IT services.
• Advanced proficiency in English with ability to communicate professionally.
• Experience with ServiceNow IT Enterprise Platform is desirable.
• ITIL 4 Certification is a strong plus.
• Lean Six Sigma (L6S) Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for IT equipment, software, meeting rooms, and other collaboration/common areas as part of desk-side support.
• Provide onsite IT support for factory or site-owned and managed assets.
• Perform operational IT/OT cybersecurity tasks.
• Provide operational support for both Office IT and Shop Floor IT/OT assets, including kiosks, printers, conference rooms, vendor-managed machines, CCTV and security systems, access badge systems, and MES scanners.
• Act as the first responder for IT/OT cybersecurity incidents by investigating and determining scope and coordinating with cybersecurity team.
• Identify critical assets within the factory environment that require monitoring and protection.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
