INGEPSY seeks an experienced Data Engineer to build and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines, warehouse models, and analytic datasets supporting people insights. This role blends hands-on data engineering with data modeling, platform reliability, and AI-ready data experiences.

Candidates with enterprise experience and strong Snowflake, dbt, Python, Airflow, and REST API skills will thrive in this contract engagement spanning LATAM locations and US Central Time.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience, including data modeling, datamarts, and data warehouse design.
• Hands-on dbt experience for data transformations.
• Strong Python experience, including object-oriented programming and data scripting.
• Hands-on Airflow experience for pipeline orchestration.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and ingesting data from external sources.
• Hands-on Google BigQuery querying and optimization experience.
• Experience securely handling sensitive data at large scale.
• Experience with real-time or near-real-time data processing from APIs or structured sources.
• Strong SQL skills, including highly optimized queries.
• Comprehensive technical documentation skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build ingestion infrastructure using Python, dbt, Terraform, AWS Glue, EMR, and S3.
• Create Snowflake warehouse models and datamarts.
• Develop automated data-quality tests and improve data-engineering processes.
• Monitor production pipelines and target high uptime.
• Design semantic views and certified metrics over warehouse models.
• Build governed data interfaces for AI tooling and BI tools.
• Document data models, pipelines, and decisions comprehensively.
• Collaborate with teams across BI and analytics.
