AgileEngine seeks a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines and semantic models in Snowflake and DBT. You will enable BI and AI-driven access, design ontology layers, and deploy AI agents for HR use cases with secure MCP connections.

The role focuses on real-time data processing, REST data ingestion, and optimized SQL in a fast-paced, people-first environment with strong growth opportunities.

Formación

• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Snowflake data modeling, datamarts and data warehouse design.
• DBT for data transformations.
• Python programming including OOP and data scripting.
• Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• REST API integration and data ingestion.
• Google BigQuery querying and optimization.
• Secure handling of large-scale data.
• Real-time data processing capabilities.
• Strong SQL with optimized queries.
• Comprehensive documentation skills.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python in a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build the infrastructure and tooling for ETL from diverse sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS services (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Identify process improvements, develop tests in the Data Quality Framework, and monitor pipelines for 99.5% uptime.
• Design semantic views and ontology layers on top of dbt models for BI tools and AI agents.
• Develop and deploy AI agents for HR use cases enabling natural-language querying over HRDM data.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling to expose HR data securely.
