Job summary

Lean Solutions Group is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Supervisor to lead the launch of our new Billing Division in Bogotá. You will oversee daily billing operations, ensure timely invoicing, supervise the billing team, and drive process improvements to maintain financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1.5+ years in billing with leadership experience, strong Excel skills, and Advanced English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years in billing with leadership experience, preferably in logistics/transport.
• Experience in Billing, AP, AR, or related financial operations.
• Experience guiding, coordinating, or supervising team members.
• Strong analytical skills with invoice review, reconciliation, and discrepancy identification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and billing data reporting.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Excellent organization, detail orientation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily billing operations, ensuring invoices are accurate, complete, and issued on time.
• Supervise and support the billing team with coaching on complex cases.
• Monitor billing activity, reconciliations, and discrepancies for accurate records.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Operations, Account Managers, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Review billing data to ensure compliance with procedures and customer requirements.
• Analyze billing reports to identify discrepancies and process gaps for improvement.
• Monitor team workload and billing accuracy to meet goals.
• Support month-end and period-end closing activities with accurate records.
• Maintain billing controls and documentation for data integrity.
• Contribute to workflows and SOPs for the new division.
