AECOM is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer for our Santiago de Chile office. The role focuses on delivering conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs for open pit and underground mining projects across LATAM.

You will work with senior engineers to develop studies, optimize plans, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with stakeholders. Hybrid work model in Chile is available.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of mining engineering experience.
• Equivalent experience and/or education acceptable.
• Experience delivering PEA, PFS, FS studies and expertise in open pit/underground design.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and review open pit and/or underground mine designs and development plans.
• Prepare life-of-mine plans and production schedules for economic evaluations.
• Optimize mine plans through trade-off studies and scenario evaluation.
• Design haul roads, waste facilities, and stockpiles; support other disciplines.
• Prepare procurement packages for mining equipment and related documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with mult-disciplinary teams.
• Manage client relationships and lead proposals and business development.
