Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Mining Program Management Specialist for employment in Santiago de Chile. The role focuses on leading multi-project capital programs in the mining sector, establishing program execution plans and governance, and delivering standardized reporting across EPCM and related delivery models.

The candidate should have 8+ years in mining or heavy industrial infra, a relevant engineering degree, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive experience in capital project and program management, with a focus on mining and heavy industrial infra.
English/Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

Establish and implement integrated Program Execution Plans, governance frameworks, and standardized reporting across multi-project mining capital portfolios.
Define program-wide processes for change management, risk mitigation, document control, procurement packaging, and quality assurance.
Act as senior advisory link between client executive steering committees, AECOM leadership, and project/EPCM delivery teams.
Oversee cross-project interface management to eliminate schedule conflicts and resource competition.
Coordinate portfolio-level long-lead procurement strategies and global logistics across multiple construction packages.
Align engineering, environmental/permitting, community engagement, and site construction activities across all sub-projects.
Implement centralized program control systems to aggregate performance data into unified dashboards.
