Job summary

MSD is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Planning Lead in Switzerland to shape and execute end-to-end planning across the GCS portfolio. You will partner with Pharmaceutical Sciences, GCS stakeholders, and external entities to drive alignment, improve KPIs, and enable compliant, efficient clinical supply planning.

The role involves defining planning standards, leading cross-functional initiatives, and mentoring junior staff to elevate the organization’s planning capability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining and improving KPIs for end-to-end supply chain planning.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and change management.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and improve KPIs for the GCS end-to-end supply chain planning team.
• Partner with GCS stakeholders and cross-functional areas to establish KPI definitions, data sources, reporting cadences, and governance routines.
• Create and champion principles for siting, capacity planning, and portfolio prioritization across raw materials, packaging and labeling, and global release planning.
• Lead and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to strengthen end-to-end planning discipline.
• Serve as a SME for strategic planning practices, providing guidance on standards, governance, KPI interpretation, and scenario planning.
• Mentor junior staff, support onboarding and change management activities.
