Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Account Manager to accelerate growth in the Public Sector in Switzerland. You will engage with C‑level and IT leaders to establish AWS as a primary cloud provider, while developing territory plans and driving adoption of AWS services.

The role requires a blend of public sector knowledge, technical understanding, and a proactive, self-starting mindset to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in handling large Public Sector Projects.
• 10 years in Sales Account position.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Public Sector executives.
• Understand the technical and business requirements of Core Public Sector and position AWS as the preferred cloud platform.
• Drive the adoption of AWS services and solutions to address the Public Sector needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, solutions architecture, and professional services teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Work closely with the Partner team to ensure a robust AWS ecosystem is engaged to support the customers key business priorities.
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
