Job summary

CTC Resourcing Solutions is seeking a Senior Scientist - Biomarker Development, Translational Medicine for a Basel, Switzerland contract until 30 April 2027. The role is hands-on in MCS, developing soluble biomarker assays and collaborating with global experts to advance biomarker technologies from early development to clinical studies.

Qualifications

• Residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required.
• BS/MS in Biology, Immunology, or Cell Biology with 5+ years in pharma/biotech lab.
• Experience with ligand-binding assays (ELISA, MSD, NULISA, Ella) and LC-MS is essential.
• Strong analytical thinking and teamwork.
• Experience in global/matrix organizations is a plus.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding regulatory requirements (GCLP, ICH).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development and validation of soluble biomarker assays (ELISA, MSD, NULISA, Ella, LC-MS).
• Transfer, implementation and monitoring of biomarker assay development at external providers.
• Generate and interpret biomarker data to support proof of mechanism and biology across early programs.
• Ensure data quality and timely delivery of biomarker results from internal and external activities.
• Lead assay strategy, data interpretation, documentation, and alignment to study endpoints.
• Maintain high standards for scientific rigor, data integrity, compliance and safety.
