Job summary

The Basel-based pharmaceutical company seeks a Senior Scientist - Biomarker to lead hands-on development of soluble biomarker assays (ELISA, MSD, NULISA, Ella, LC-MS) and to provide SME support for external transfers and monitoring. You will generate and interpret data to enable mechanism and dose selection in early trials, ensuring high data quality and compliance.

Requires a BS/MS in biology/immunology or related field with 5+ years in pharma/biotech, fluency in English, and on-site Basel work

Qualifications

BS/MS in biology or equivalent and pharmaceutical/biotech lab experience.
Extensive understanding of ligand-binding assays is essential.
Knowledge of LC-MS methods is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork in a global setting.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate soluble biomarker assays (ELISA, MSD, NUAISA, Ella, LC-MS).
Provide SME support for transfers, implementation and monitoring with external providers.
Generate and interpret biomarker data for proof of mechanism and biology in early programs.
Ensure data quality and timely delivery of biomarker activities.
Lead exploratory assays, including strategy, data interpretation and documentation.
