Job summary

Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager – Paid Social to own our paid social strategy across key markets and prepare the channel for growth. You will translate customer insights into compelling concepts, run rigorous testing, and collaborate with creative partners to bring strong ideas to market.

You will connect this work to measurable outcomes, optimize for conversion and ROI, and ensure health messaging accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid social experience in an international setting.
• Strong creative strategy skills and ability to turn insights into ads that perform.
• A data-driven approach to testing, measurement, and decision-making.
• Experience improving conversion rates and managing campaigns against ROI goals.
• Deep knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and experience with other relevant social platforms.
• Ability to adapt messaging and execution across markets while keeping the brand consistent.
• Clear communication and sound judgment when working with sensitive health topics.
• Nice to have: experience in health tech, medical devices, wearables, or subscription products.

Responsibilities

• Lead paid social strategy, planning and execution across the US, UK, Germany and other growth markets.
• Develop creative hypotheses based on customer research, market differences and performance data.
• Brief, test and refine ad concepts, messages, formats and landing pages in partnership with creative and product teams.
• Manage campaign budgets, audiences and optimisation across Meta, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and conversion rate, from ad click through to purchase.
• Measure performance against acquisition cost, revenue and return on investment and turn findings into clear decisions and next steps.
• Work with clinical, regulatory and legal colleagues to ensure advertising claims and health messaging are accurate and approved.
• Steer agencies and freelancers, set clear priorities and ensure high-quality execution and continuous performance improvement.
