Job summary

Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager – Paid Search to lead paid search across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, shaping strategy, budgets and growth. The role is remote-first and Europe-wide, with occasional travel to Neuchâtel.

Fluent English and German are required, and you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to scale paid acquisition and test new channels.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on paid search experience.
• Deep expertise in Google Ads and strong Microsoft Advertising.
• Data-driven approach with sound measurement and testing.
• Experience with media planning and performance forecasting.
• Nice to have: health tech, medical devices, wearables, or subscription products.

Responsibilities

• Set paid search strategy across the US, UK, Germany and growth markets.
• Lead campaign strategy and execution across Search, Shopping and Performance Max.
• Manage budgets, pacing, bidding and investment across platforms and markets.
• Measure performance against acquisition cost, conversion, revenue, and ROI.
• Build a testing roadmap across keywords, audiences, creative, product feeds and landing pages.
• Partner with marketing, product, creative and analytics colleagues to strengthen tracking.
• Use AI tools and platform automation to accelerate research, analysis and execution.
• Drive testing and development of additional paid channels, such as native advertising.
• Present results, risks and opportunities clearly, with a plan for next steps.
