Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own XDR and exposure and vulnerability capabilities. You will drive end‑to‑end strategy across security domains, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and the Security Labs to shape a winning roadmap and actionable requirements.

You will interact with senior customers, including CISOs, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes while maintaining a security‑first, AI‑augmented approach across a remote‑first organization.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
• A consistent record of owning a product area with revenue impact and leading from strategy to shipped outcomes.
• Hands‑on knowledge of XDR/EDR/SIEM or security operations, either as PM or practitioner.
• Understanding of exposure prioritization and threat landscape; familiarity with AI security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own XDR strategy and delivery across cross‑domain detection and response (endpoint, cloud, identity, network).
• Lead XDR expansion into exposure and vulnerability management with features like patch management and remediation workflows.
• Define scope between XDR, exposure, and adjacent surfaces like attack surface and cloud posture.
• Collaborate with Entity Analytics on asset criticality and context.
• Represent product voice with senior stakeholders and deliver roadmap direction.
• Be the internal authority on competitive landscape and translate into differentiated strategy.
• Partner with engineering and Security Labs to ground detection/exposure scoring in threat research.
• Create artifacts like roadmaps, memos, and briefs for visibility without meetings.
