Job summary

D-ploy is looking for a proactive IT desktop support specialist to maintain and improve our desktop infrastructure in Schaffhausen. You will assist employees with technical issues and handle on-site and remote support tasks.

Responsibilities include managing tickets, configuring new workstations, and coordinating computer installations with the team. Fluency in English and German (B2) is required; a driver’s license and willingness to travel in the Schaffhausen area are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German (B2 level); French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor desktop infrastructure performance and suggest improvements.
• Serve as main contact for employees with computer issues.
• Maintain and plan future needs of desktop infrastructure.
• Provide on-site and remote IT support for PC, laptop and peripherals.
• Process tickets and document actions in the ticket system.
• Set up and configure hardware/software for new employees and relocations.
• Coordinate PC installations with the team and manage inventory.
