Job summary

D-ploy GmbH is seeking an IT support specialist to maintain desktop infrastructure and provide end-user assistance in a dynamic environment. You will handle incidents, perform routine maintenance, and support PC, laptop, and peripheral devices, including printers, across our Schaffhausen area clients.

The role requires 1+ years in a similar position, fluency in English and German (B2), and a practical understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, AD/Exchange, and VPN basics.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a similar IT support role.
• Fluent English and German (at least B2); French a plus.
• Good understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, and hardware peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain desktop infrastructure; improve efficiency.
• Serve as main contact for employees with computer issues; provide on-site and remote support.
• Handle ticket processing, installations, and workstation relocations.
• Assist with network cabling, VPN, AD/Exchange tasks, and user training.
• Maintain inventory, document environment, and coordinate with the team.
