Academic Work is recruiting an IT Support Technician in Lausanne to support users during a digital transition to cloud-based environments. You will handle daily IT support queries, assist with onboarding, and maintain workplace environments within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, an service-oriented mindset, and hands-on troubleshooting across devices and software, with potential Microsoft certifications considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.
• Experience with Level 1 and Level 2 IT support workflows.
• Advanced English communication (minimum B2).
• Strong interpersonal and service-oriented mindset.
• Microsoft certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prioritize support requests via phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Troubleshoot workstations, software, printers, connectivity, and mobile devices.
• Support onsite meeting rooms and collaboration tools; enable cloud adoption.
• Prepare laptops, replace hardware, and maintain inventory records.
• Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Provide Level 2 troubleshooting and escalate complex issues.
• Keep users informed and update troubleshooting documentation.
