Job summary

Academic Work is seeking an IT Support Technician in Switzerland to assist users during a digital transition to cloud-based environments. You will manage daily IT support requests, prepare devices, and help with onboarding while working in a collaborative team.

You will handle Level 1/2 issues, support meeting rooms and collaboration tools, and maintain accurate inventory and access permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD. English proficiency at B2 level is required.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.
• Experience with Level 1 and Level 2 IT support workflows.
• Fluent English communication at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prioritize support requests via phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Troubleshoot workstations, software, printers, connectivity, and mobile devices.
• Support onsite meeting rooms, collaboration tools, and facilitate cloud adoption.
• Prepare laptops, replace hardware, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Provide Level 2 troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to specialists.
• Keep users informed, confirm resolutions, and update troubleshooting documentation.
