TEAM MARKETING AG in Lucerne, Switzerland, is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to manage the operational IT estate. You will ensure availability, security and efficiency of infrastructure, cloud services and end-user technology, while driving continuous improvement.

Working with IT, Data and Innovation, you’ll lead service operations, governance and supplier management, and provide leadership to colleagues, fostering teamwork and a proactive security posture.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as System/Infrastructure/Network Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on with Microsoft technologies, hybrid environments and virtual server infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies and cybersecurity.
• Organised, responsible and able to solve technical challenges.
• Fluent English and German communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Ensure the availability, performance and security of IT systems and services, including cloud services.
• Monitor systems, manage incidents, problems and changes to minimise downtime.
• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, storage, backup, DR and BC.
• Maintain security through identity, access, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Oversee end-user devices, suppliers and managed service providers for reliable services.
• Create and maintain documentation, standards and procedures for security and compliance.
• Support budgeting, software licensing, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Help develop the Technology Operations roadmap with automation and cloud expansion.
• Provide technical guidance and promote teamwork and customer service.

As part of the Commercial Services department, the IT Solutions team keeps TEAM digitally connected, secure and running smoothly. We manage the technology foundations that enable the business to operate effectively while continually improving our infrastructure, security and digital workplace. IT Solutions ensures that TEAM's core technology services are resilient, secure and scalable. From managing cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity to overseeing devices, vendors and technology operations, we provide the trusted platforms that enable our people to collaborate confidently and deliver exceptional work.

The role

As IT Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational management of TEAM's technology estate. You will ensure that infrastructure, security, end-user technology and technology suppliers operate reliably, securely and efficiently while continually improving the services provided to the business. Working closely with colleagues across IT, Data and Innovation, you will provide the operational foundation that enables TEAM's technology strategy to succeed. Your responsibilities will include the following:

Technology operations & service management

• Ensure the availability, performance and security of TEAM’s IT systems and services, including Microsoft365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure and related cloud services.
• Monitor IT systems and manage incidents, problems and changes to minimise downtime and improve service quality.

Infrastructure, security & resilience

• Manage and improve TEAM's IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, hybrid environments, storage, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Maintain a strong security environment by managing identity and access, network security, vulnerability management, patching, endpoint protection, security monitoring and incident response.

End user technology & supplier management

• Manage end-user devices and IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including purchasing, deployment, maintenance and secure disposal.
• Work with technology vendors, software suppliers and managed service providers to ensure reliable services.

Governance & continuous improvement

• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, policies and procedures that support security, compliance and business continuity.
• Support IT budgeting, software licensing, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Help develop and deliver the Technology Operations roadmap by improving infrastructure, expanding cloud services, introducing automation and continuously improving IT services.

Leadership

• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues while promoting teamwork, continuous improvement and excellent customer service.

The candidate

You have experience as a System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Network Engineer in an enterprise environment and are ready to apply your hands‑on expertise of Microsoft technologies, hybrid environments and virtual server infrastructure. You have a good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies and cybersecurity, and are confident supporting and improving IT systems. You are organised, take responsibility for your work and enjoy solving technical challenges. Additionally, you shine in the following areas:

The position will be based at TEAM’s HQ in Lucerne, Switzerland and will involve some international travel.
