Infront Sports & Media AG in Zug, Switzerland, is seeking an ICT System & Network Engineer (m/f/d) 80-100% to design, operate and secure our enterprise network. You will manage Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid Active Directory, maintain Windows Server environments and drive network security across a global IT landscape, collaborating across teams and external partners.

Fluency in German and English is required.

• 5–8 years in ICT System Engineer or Network Engineer role.
• Apprenticeship in IT or higher technical education; CS degree.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid Active Directory.
• Experience in hybrid cloud components, Windows Server administration.

We are looking for a passionate ICT System & Network Engineer (m/f/d) 80-100% who wants to shape and operate a modern enterprise network environment within a dynamic and international sports-driven organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating and continuously improving our enterprise network and security infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance and security across our global IT environment.

• Administer and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 tenant and Azure cloud services
• Manage and optimise hybrid server environments and infrastructure platforms
• Ensure secure identity and access management across a Microsoft hybrid environment
• Operate, support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including core and access switching, VLANs and network segmentation
• Operate, support and maintain secure network access and connectivity, including Network Access Control (NAC) and firewalls
• Lead and assist IT infrastructure and network projects from planning through implementation
• Continuously improve IT system and security architecture to ensure high availability, scalability and security
• Manage external partners and consultants in your responsible domain
• Evaluate, test and source new hardware and software solutions
• Design and create technical concepts and IT architecture solutions
• Develop and implement IT processes based on business and operational requirements
• Monitor security incidents and respond accordingly to minimise risk and operational impact
• Ensure continuous software updates, patching and lifecycle management
• Support the IT Service Desk in daily operations, escalations and troubleshooting

Your profile

• You bring 5–8 years of experience in a similar ICT System Engineer or Network Engineering role
• You have completed an apprenticeship in IT, a higher technical education, a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• You have strong experience in managing Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid Active Directory environments, as well as Windows Server administration and Microsoft hybrid cloud components
• You have experience implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure services in hybrid environments
• You have enterprise network and network security experience; knowledge of Cisco and Aruba technologies (including Aruba ClearPass, Forescout CounterACT, Barracuda CloudGen Firewall and Barracuda Control Center) is an advantage
• You have experience with enterprise wireless environments, ideally including Aruba Access Points, Aruba Mobility Controller and Aruba Mobility Conductor
• You are able to plan, implement and support IT services in complex environments
• You are able to translate business needs into technical requirements and show excellent analytical thinking with sound decision-making
• You have a strong commitment to quality, reliability and a client-first mindset
• You communicate clearly, collaborate well and bring an approachable, supportive personality
• You can motivate, guide and inspire others, also in project settings
• You are fluent in German and English
